I love to photograph kids. This quilt was inspired from a photo I took of a little girl playing on the sand in Longboat Key, Florida in March of 2004. I wanted to make a quilt using this photo. This quilted wallhanging was made from a whole cloth, no piecing, all hand painted and machine quilted.

 

This quilt was entered and accepted into the American Quilters Society quilt show at Paducah, Kentucky in April 2005.
