This is a quilted wallhanging made from discharged black cotton fabric.  I then dyed and over dyed the fabric and cut out pieces to make a pattern and applique' quilted it onto the black background. The inspiration for this quilt was from taking pictures of  paved driveways while I was visiting my brother in Florida in 2004.
