This quilted wallhanging started with using some of my hand dyed fabrics. I then quilted a one inch grid on the background fabric, then added commercial cotton fabric pieces cut into various shapes to create the 3-D look. To me, it looked like these various shapes were floating, so I named it "Flying Objects". This quilt was made in 2003.
