Sphere's and circle's have always fascinated me. This quilted wallhanging started out as being another one of my drawings and I liked just playing around with it.  In looking thru all of my sketches I decided to give it a "woven" look. After refining the drawing several times I decided to make this one a quilt. It turned out to be a real challange for me in just how I was going to piece it. All of the batik fabric pieces were turned under and appliqued with a buttonhole stitch using invisible thread. As it was taking shape I decided to name it GLOBAL WARMING.

This quilt was juried into the International Quilt Show in November 2008 in Houston, Texas.
